“When you’re part of a growing business most founders find themselves on a path where they are the single point of failure, if you’re a growing business you should be thinking about how do you manage the business outside of what you’re doing daily”

The situation

Jungle IT came to TBG as they had huge ambitions to grow their business, as a team of two senior leaders that wanted to give some empowerment to staff members.

Growing the business with unity became difficult with only two people making the decisions.

Hear what impact Jungle have seen since implementing OKRs and also investing in internal OKR Coaches.

“I’ve had that toolkit in my back pocket of different ways to approach certain conversations, I’ve been able to positively challenge decision makers”

The impact

We asked Jon ~ ‘What impact have they seen?’

“There’s a couple of big impact changes for us, first of all is the investors of People, that’s really helped us with our people strategy, both as a foundation and moving forward.”

“The second part to that is the golden thread principle, that starts at the diagnosis part of the sales journey, takes us through to the projects and onto the account management. It’s a different way of thinking and OKRs have helped embed that within the team”.

“We’ve taken away some of the ownership of running the business and empowered the team to deliver the big moves. This has freed up a lot of my time”
