Roger Longden

Founder and Managing Director
Roger’s always been driven by performance and results — whether in business or sport. Working closely with tech founders, he saw a recurring challenge: teams were often disconnected from the strategy, making it harder to turn ambition into action. He recognised that in a fast-moving world, where strategy can become outdated overnight, businesses need a way to stay aligned and adaptable. Discovering OKRs was a turning point. Roger saw how this framework could bridge the gap between vision and execution — helping organisations stay focused, fast, and resilient. That insight became the foundation for There Be Giants: a team of passionate OKR professionals dedicated to helping businesses thrive amid uncertainty and change.

I’ve been with There Be Giants since 2021, helping Exec and Senior Teams create effective OKRs and help guide the right company culture for them to succeed. I also run our OKR Coach Academy, training people within organisations to become experts in OKRs for long term success, as well as how to support teams going through change. With my background in Learning & Development, coaching, and being a Certified Practitioner in Psychological Safety, I have a strong passion for working with people and helping them get to their “lightbulb” moments, especially now when it comes to OKRs.

I love engaging with new people, so my role as new lead on-boarding is something that I love to do. Never too busy to chat: Always available for coffee.

A key part of this is using OKRs, committing to practical, measurable change that forges a sustainable future for organisations and their people.
