I enjoyed it, we were all in different situations and places around OKRs and that helped to think of OKR application in a different setting than your own, a different angle.

The situation

Florian Leinfelder ‘Leini’ at Home24 joined our first OKR Coach Academy back in November 2020, graduating in February 2021.  We caught up with Leini and asked for his feedback.

“I now have a solid foundation of the OKR process. There are so many ideas out there on OKRs it can get confusing.”

Did the course match your expectations?

“Yes it did, in the way that the course structure was clear and the guidelines set in the OKR handbook you have written really helped. I now have a solid foundation of the OKR process. There are so many ideas out there on OKRs it can get confusing. I was implementing OKRs at Home24 alongside taking part – it definitely helped”.

You were part of an open cohort. How did you find this?

“I enjoyed it, we were all in different situations and places around OKRs and that helped to think of OKR application in a different setting than your own, a different angle. It helped focus the learning.  Also, it was a super nice group, and I enjoyed their company”.

“Building OKRs across our teams stopped team silos. Now I know about it, it makes complete sense, and it works.”

What one thing did you take away that had the most impact?

“This would be building cross functional OKRs, which I hadn’t heard of before.  Building OKRs across our teams stopped team silos. Now I know about it, it makes complete sense, and it works.”

What would you say to someone thinking about joining the Coach Academy?

“I would say go for it.  The format is great and it’s a great practical guide on making OKRs work in your company. Being part of the open cohort gave a fresh dimension to the learning.”
